Liver - Arginase-1 positive hepatocellular carcinoma. A moderate intensity stroma staining represents a contamination effect due to very high arginase-1 levels in the surrounding tumor cells.
Liver - Hepatocellular carcinoma showing strong arginase-1 immunostaining in all tumor cells.
Stomach - Intestinal type gastric adenocarcinoma (arginase-1 negative) containing many arginase-1 positive granulocytes.
Uterus - Arginase-1 negative squamous cell carcinoma of the uterine cervix, infiltrated by arginase-1 positive granulocytes.
Urinary bladder - Muscle invasive urothelial carcinoma (arginase-1 negative) containing large numbers of arginase-1 positive granulocytes.
Vulva - Keratinizing squamous cell carcinoma showing a weak to moderate arginase-1 immunostaining in a specific cell layer reflecting „granular layer“ of normal skin.
