Ectocervix - Cytokeratin 10 is mostly absent in non-keratinizing squamous epithelium. It can occur, however, in a variable fraction of suprabasal cells.

Ectocervix - Cytokeratin 10 is mostly absent in non-keratinizing squamous epithelium. It can occur, however, in a variable fraction of suprabasal cells in these tissues. Here only few squamous cells show weak staining.

Skin - Cytokeratin 10 is strongly positive in all suprabasal cell layers of the epidermis but the basal cell layer is strictly Cytokeratin 10 negative.

Skin, hairfollicel and sebaceous glands - Cytokeratin 10 is strongly positive in all suprabasal cell layers of the epidermis and in associated sebaceous glands and hair follicles. The basal cell layer remains strictly Cytokeratin 10 negative.
