Specific for human platelet-derived thrombospondin and serum thrombospondin. Cross-reactivity has been observed with bovine thrombospondin in fetal calf serum (other species not tested). No cross-reactivity with human thrombin, fibrinogen, fibronectin, laminin or serum albumin is observed.
