Background

The protein encoded by this gene is a receptor for the xenotropic and polytropic classes of murine leukemia viruses. The encoded protein is involved in phosphate homeostasis by mediating phosphate export from the cell. Defects in this gene have been associated with idiopathic basal ganglia calcification-6. Non-transfected (–) and transfected (+) unboiled HCT-116 whole cell extract (30 μg) were separated by 7.5% SDS-PAGE, and the membrane was blotted with XPR1 antibody [HL2631] (GTX639087) diluted at 1:1000. The HRP-conjugated anti-rabbit IgG antibody (GTX213110-01) was used to detect the primary antibody.

Boiled and unboiled mouse tissue extract (50 μg) were separated by 7.5% SDS-PAGE, and the membrane was blotted with XPR1 antibody [HL2631] (GTX639087) diluted at 1:1000. The HRP-conjugated anti-rabbit IgG antibody (GTX213110-01) was used to detect the primary antibody, and the signal was developed with Trident ECL plus-Enhanced.
