Adrenal gland- S100P negative adrenocortical adenoma.

Anal canal- Squamous cell carcinoma with variable intensity (weak to strong) S100P immunostaining of tumor cells.

Breast- Invasive lobular breast cancer with strong S100P immunostaining of tumor cells.

Colon- Colorectal adenocarcinoma with strong S100P immunostaining of tumor cells.

       

Kidney- S100P negative clear cell renal cell carcinoma.

Larynx- Squamous cell carcinoma with strong S100P immunostaining of some tumor areas while others are completely negative. Various S100P positive granulocytes are also seen.

Liver- Hepatocellular carcinoma with strong S100P immunostaining of tumor cells.

Lung- Adenocarcinoma with strong S100P immunostaining of tumor cells.

       

Lung- S100P negative malignant mesothelioma (epitheloid).

Lung- S100P negative malignant mesothelioma (epitheloid). A limited number of S100P positive granulocytes are seen.

Lung- S100P negative malignant mesothelioma (epitheloid). The sample contains numerous S100P positive granulocytes.

Lymph node- S100P negative Hodgkin’s lymphoma containing numerous S100P positive granulocytes.

       

Oral cavity- Squamous cell carcinoma with only focal S100P positivity of tumor cells.

Ovary- Mucinous carcinoma with strong S100P immunostaining of tumor cells.

Ovary- S100P negative serous high-grade carcinoma.

Pancreas- Acinar cell carcinoma lacking S100P immunostaining of tumor cells.

       

Pancreas- Ductal adenocarcinoma with strong S100P immunostaining of tumor cells. Few S100P positive granulocytes are also seen.

Pancreas- S100P negative neuroendocrine tumor. Few S100P positive granulocytes are also seen.

Penis- Squamous cell carcinoma with focal S100P immunostaining of tumor cells in areas of keratinization.

Prostate- Adenocarcinoma (Gleason 5+5=10) with moderate to strong S100P immunostaining of tumor cells.

       

Prostate- S100P negative adenocarcinoma (Gleason 3+3=6).

Skin- S100P negative malignant melanoma containing few S100P positive granulocytes.

Skin- S100P negative Merkel cell carcinoma.

Soft tissue- S100P negative liposarcoma containing numerous S100P positive granulocytes.

       

Stomach- Gastric adenocarcinoma (diffuse type) with strong S100P immunostaining of tumor cells.

Stomach- Gastric adenocarcinoma (intestinal type) with strong S100P immunostaining of tumor cells. S100P positive granulocytes are also discernible.

Stomach- Gastrointestinal stromal tumor (GIST) lacking any S100P immunostaining.

Testis- S100P negative seminoma.

       

Thyroid- S100P negative medullary carcinoma.

Thyroid- S100P negative papillary carcinoma.

Urinary bladder- Muscle-invasive urothelial carcinoma with strong S100P immunostaining of tumor cells.

Urinary bladder- Non-invasive urothelial carcinoma (low grade, pTaG2) with strong S100P immunostaining of tumor cells.

       

Uterus, cervix- Squamous cell carcinoma with variable intensity (weak to strong) S100P immunostaining of tumor cells.

Vagina- Squamous cell carcinoma with strong S100P immunostaining of tumor cells.

Vulva- Squamous cell carcinoma showing strong focal S100P immunostaining of tumor cells. S100P positive granulocytes are abundant.
