Background

This gene encodes a member of the LSm family of RNA-binding proteins. LSm proteins form stable heteromers that bind specifically to the 3'-terminal oligo(U) tract of U6 snRNA and may play a role in pre-mRNA splicing by mediating U4/U6 snRNP formation. Alternatively spliced transcript variants encoding multiple isoforms have been observed for this gene. [provided by RefSeq, Nov 2011]

Various whole cell extracts (30 μg) were separated by 15% SDS-PAGE, and the membrane was blotted with LSM4 antibody [HL3172] (GTX640690) diluted at 1:1000. The HRP-conjugated anti-rabbit IgG antibody (GTX213110-01) was used to detect the primary antibody.

Various tissue extracts (50 μg) were separated by 15% SDS-PAGE, and the membrane was blotted with LSM4 antibody [HL3172] (GTX640690) diluted at 1:1000. The HRP-conjugated anti-rabbit IgG antibody (GTX213110-01) was used to detect the primary antibody, and the signal was developed with Trident ECL plus-Enhanced.

Sample: HeLa cells were fixed in 4% paraformaldehyde at RT for 15 min.
Green: LSM4 stained by LSM4 antibody [HL3172] (GTX640690) diluted at 1:500.
Red: alpha Tubulin, a cytoskeleton marker, stained by alpha Tubulin antibody [GT114] (GTX628802) diluted at 1:1000.
